A Dhaka on Monday placed Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) central executive committee member Nipun Roy Chowdhury on a three-day remand in a case filed over setting fire to a bus and plotting sabotage.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mamunur Rashid passed the order after police produced her before the court seeking a seven-day remand in the case filed with Hazaribagh police station.
On Sunday, Rapid Action Battalion arrested Nipun from her home in the capital’s Rayerbazar.
