NRB Bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mamun Mahmood Shah has resigned citing personal reasons.
Confirming the matter to The Business Post on Tuesday night, he said, “I did not face any pressure from the bank's board, but the working environment was uncomfortable for me. Therefore, I have chosen to resign before completion of my tenure.”
According to the NRB Bank website, Md Shakir Amin Chowdhury is serving the role of acting managing director in the bank.
