All the public and private offices reopened Monday after three days of holiday on the occasion of the Eid-ul Azha, the second biggest religious festival of the Muslim Ummah, celebrated on August 1 here.

Employees of all the public, semi-government, autonomous and private organizations were seen joining their respective office work.

The public holiday was announced from July 31 to Aug 2 on the Eid-ul Azha.

But, as per the decision taken in a cabinet meeting on July 13 last, the government employees had to stay at their respective working places during this Eid vacation.

Meanwhile, the apparel sector workers also returned to their work on Monday after three days of Eid holiday as the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) asked the workers not to leave the capital during the Eid vacation.
