The ICT Division’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page operations remained suspended since the fall of Hasina regime, as only Zunaid Ahmed Palak – the former state minister of ICT currently on remand – knows the passwords.
ICT Division Secretary Shamsul Arefin said on Tuesday, “ICT channels and pages were managed and controlled by former minister of state for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak and his close associates. We are now trying to recover them.
Palak was arrested from the city’s Nikunja area on August 14. Later, he was brought to the court in a murder case filed with the Paltan police station. He is currently on a 2nd phase 7-day remand.
