Operations resume in 21 border police stations

Under the overall supervision of the Rangpur and Jessore regions of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), normal operations have resumed in 11 border police stations within the Rangpur Range and 10 border police stations within the Khulna Range on Friday.

In light of the recent situation, the BGB has strengthened security in border areas and surrounding regions, including border police stations, to restore order and increase public confidence. To enhance security in these police stations, mobile and static patrols have been conducted, and intelligence surveillance has been intensified. Additionally, emergency mobile services have been activated, in coordination with nearby Border Outposts (BOP) and battalions, to assist in preventing activities harmful to public safety in the border areas.

Members of the Public started visiting the police stations for various services.

Activities resume in 361 police stations across country

A total of 361 police stations across the country have resumed their operations this morning after remaining closed for three consecutive days.

Of them, 70 are from 110 Metropolitan Police Stations and 291 are from 529 Range Police Stations have opened on Saturday after being closed from last Monday to Thursday, reports BSS.

Earlier on Friday night, text messages were issued by the Police Headquarters stating that the police were going to resume their activities from today, it added.
