Pathway, a non-governmental organization, has observed the 47th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National Mourning Day of Bangladesh.
Prayers were held marking the 47th martyrdom anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the Pathway's head office in Mirpur, said a press release on Monday.
Later a discussion meeting was held. And after the discussion, they distributed food to needy people. In addition to this, a painting competition was arranged for the children.
In the discussion meeting, Pathway's Executive Director Shaheen said that to build the Sonar Bangla Bangabandhu's dreamt we should connect all the sections of the society to the mainstream.
In the prayer ceremony, former organizing secretary of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League SM Zahid, Social Service Officer KM Shahiduzzaman, Pathway Chairman Rizur Rahman, Pathway Advisor Saddam Hossain Fayez and officials of various cooperative organizations were also present.
