The PHP Family has donated an ambulance to Anjuman Mufidul Islam, a Bangladeshi welfare organisation.
Distinguished industrialist Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman – receiver of the prestigious Ekushey Medal for social service – handed over the ambulance on behalf of the Sufi Mizan Foundation on Thursday.
Chattogram Police Commissioner and Anjuman Mufidul Islam Chattogram Branch President Krishna Pada Roy accepted the donation at a solemn ceremony.
At this time, Anjuman Mufidul Islam Senior Vice President and Dainik Azadi Editor MA Malek, PHP Family Director Mohamed Ali Hossain, Mohammed Akther Parvez, and Anjuman Mufidul Islam Vice President Nazmul Hoque Chowdhury were present.
In a brief meeting, Krishna Pada Roy thanked Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman and the PHP Family for this generosity.
Prominent industrialist Alhaj Sufi Mohamed Mizanur Rahman, in his speech, praised the noble work of Anjuman Mufidul Islam and expressed gratitude for being able to donate the ambulance.

Additional Police Commissioner (Admin & Finance) and Vice President ASM Mahatab Uddin; Additional Police Commissioner (Crime & Ops) and Vice President Abdul Mannan Miah; Additional Police Commissioner (Traffic) Masud Ahmed; Executive Member, and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) MD Abdul Warish; Vice President Md Yusuf Sardar, Shamsul Alam Shamim, Kazi Shahadat Hossain and other senior officials of both organisations were present.
Anjuman Mufidul Islam will use the ambulance to serve humanitarian causes. The air-conditioned ambulance is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including oxygen cylinders.
