A Dhaka court has granted five days remand to PK Haldar's aide Nahida Runai, former vice-president of International Leasing over her alleged involvement in a case filed over assisting Halder to embezzle money.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Rabiul Alam on Tuesday granted the remand.
Two other associates of PK Halder were also put on a five-day remand each over the same case.
They are Syed Abed Hasan, acting managing director of International Leasing, and senior manager Rafsan Riyad Chowdhury.
Earlier on the day, the duo was arrested from Motijheel area of the capital at 4 pm by an ACC team led by its Deputy Director Gulshan Anwar.
According to ACC sources, they were arrested in a case filed by the ACC on February 24 this year.
