Police have recovered Planning Minister MA Mannan’s mobile phone, one and a half months after it was snatched while the minister was talking over the phone inside his car in the capital.
The law enforcers also arrested four people in connection with the incident, DMP Additional Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) Iftekhairul Islam said on Monday.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ramna zone recovered the iphone and Deputy Commissioner Md Sazzadur Rahman would reveal the details at a press conference, he added.
Earlier on May 30, Minister Mannan’s phone was snatched at the Bijoy Sarani intersection where his car was waiting in traffic.
A case was filed in this connection on June 1.
Police said the phone was shifted among several hands after the snatching.
