Planning Minister MA Mannan phone was snatched on Sunday while he in his car at Bijoy Sarani area in Dhaka.
The minister disclosed the information during a press briefing on Tuesday.
Kafrul police station Officer in-Charge (OC) Md Selimuzzaman confirmed the matter to The Business Post Sunday afternoon.
"On May 30, at around 7:00 pm, when the minister left the planning commission and was talking on his phone with the car window open, the phone was snatched by someone,” the OC said.
A case has been filed after the incident, he said adding that the phone has not been recovered yet.
