Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday paid a courtesy call on President Abdul Hamid in his office room.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister thanked the President for delivering a commemorative speech on the life, work and ideals of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the special session of Parliament on the occasion of ‘Mujib Borsho’.
They also discussed the overall situation of the country, including the coronavirus situation.
President Hamid delivered his special speech in Parliament marking the ‘Mujib Borsho’ in the evening.
President's wife Rashida Khanom was also present during the courtesy meeting.
