Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of AFM Afzal Hossain, Advisory Council Member of Saghata Upazilla Awami League in Gaibandha district on Sunday.
In a condolence message, the premier prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
AFM Afzal Hossain breathed his last on December 5 at a hospital in Dhaka at the age of 87. He was the father of the former President of Bangladesh Chhatra League Mahmud Hasan Ripon.
