Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned, according to a BBC report.
Hasina has left the country for Agartala in India via a helicopter, said the report. Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman is holding meetings with “stakeholders,” the report adds.
He is scheduled to address the nation at 4:30pm.
