Police have cordoned off an under-construction building in sector-10 of the capital’s Uttara on tip-off that it has several bombs inside.
Members of Detective Branch (DB) of police and Uttara West Police Station are working on the spot upon receiving information around 4pm Friday, Uttara West Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Tapan Chandra Saha confirmed media.
“We have discovered several bombs inside the building. The bomb disposal unit are working there,” said Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Uttara Zone DB Deputy Commissioner Kazi Shafiqul Islam.
