A police constable in Bogura has been found coronavirus positive upon returning to his home in Adamdighi upazila from Dhaka and the entire area has been put under lockdown.
Adamdighi Upazilla health official Shahidullah Dewan confirmed The Business Post of the development on Thursday night.
The policeman hails from Shaoil village of Nashratpur union.
He works for Dhaka Metropolitan Police, DMP, where he joined on February 14. He served the elite force, Rapid Action Battalion before joining the DMP.
Currently he is undergoing treatment at Mohammad Ali College and Hospital at Bogura district headquarters.
