Shamsunnahar Smriti, popularly known as Pori Moni, has been granted bail on Sunday in a narcotics case filed against her.
Metropolitan Magistrate Satyabrata Sikder granted the bail after the actor appeared before the court for a hearing and moved a petition as her bail expired.
Earlier on August 4, members of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) detained Pori Moni from her Banani flat and seized huge amounts of foreign liquors and different drugs from her possession.
Later, a case was filed against her under the Narcotics Control Act. On August 31, a Dhaka court granted bail to the actress following the High Court’s intervention.
