President Mohammed Shahabuddin and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in separate messages on Monday greeted the recipients of the 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Industrial Award-2022'.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin will formally hand over the awards to a total of industrial units in six categories for their outstanding contribution to the industrial sector.
In his message, Mohammed Shahabuddin said the contribution of the private sector is essential for creating employment opportunities, export growth and product diversification.
The 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Industrial Award-2022' will encourage entrepreneurs in industrialisation, he added.
The President wished the 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Industrial Award-2022' a grand success.
In her speech, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said the 'Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Industrial Award-2022' is an important part of the government's patronage and policy support for the private sector.
"Through this, I think, private sector entrepreneurs will be motivated to use their creativity and innovation capabilities in the industry," she added.
By continuing the ongoing process of industrialization, the premier said, the government will be able to build a hunger-poverty-free and advanced-rich golden Bangladesh, as well as a knowledge-based Smart Bangladesh by 2041.
