The allowances for both the President and Prime Minister’s offices increased in the proposed budget for 2021-22 fiscal year.
A total of Tk 30 crore for the President’s office and Tk 3,907 crore proposed for the Prime Minister Office have been proposed in the budget for 2021-22 fiscal year.
The finance minister AHM Mustafa Kamal made the announcement while unveiling the proposed national budget in parliament on Thursday.
Mustafa Kamal unveiled a proposed budget of Tk 6,03,681 crore for 2021-22 fiscal year.
In the previous 2020-21 fiscal year, a total of Tk 27 crore was allocated for the President’s office while Tk 3839 crore was allocated for the Prime Minister’s Office.
