The names of top Dhaka University (DU) officials cannot be used as guests in any programme without prior permission.
A press release, issued in this regard from the DU public relations office on Wednesday, read, “Without prior permission, the names of DU vice-chancellor (VC), pro VC, treasurer and other key university officials cannot be used as guests in invitation letters and banners.
“Directions have been issued to different organisations and hosts in this regard. Moreover, for organising any programme at the university premises, organisers will have to take permission from university authorities/proctor as per regulations.”
