A Dhaka court fixed March 3 for the submission of an investigation report against JKG Health Care Chairman Dr Sabrina Arif Chowdhury in a case filed over possession of two National Identity (NID) cards with fake information.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mamunur Rashid set the new date as the concerned investigation officer failed to submit the report on Monday.

Earlier on November 22 last year, a Dhaka court granted bail to Dr Sabrina for possessing two NID cards and being a dual voter.

Earlier on September 3, 2020, a Dhaka court placed Dr Sabrina on a two-day remand in the case.

Election officer Md Momin Mia filed the case on August 30, 2020, with Badda police station under National Identity Registration Act, 2010.

Case statement said Dr Sabrina used two different names of her husband in two NID cards and reduced her age in one of them.

The two NID cards were blocked by the authorities after the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) sought details from the Election Commission over the scam.

Dr Sabrina is currently in jail in a case filed over issuing fake Covid-19 certificates.
