Prof Saad Andalib to narrate his journey in Ogroj

Professor Emeritus Syed Saad Andalib, former Vice Chancellor of BRAC University and Distinguished Professor at Pennsylvania State University will narrate his journey of academic excellence in the 27th episode of IPDC Ogroj.

Syed Saad Andalib, an eminent academician who has made tremendous contributions in various fields of education and research, said a press release.

Ogroj is an online programme organised by IPDC Finance, where distinguished academics, researchers, marketing strategists, business specialists and other such reputed people who have made enormous contributions in the post-independence period of Bangladesh are invited to talk about their extraordinary lives.

On the Ogroj stage, Professor Syed Saad Andalib reminisced about his academic career in a lively talk with the renowned banker and eloquent speaker, Anis A Khan Professor Andalib holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, along with a BS in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree from the University of New Hampshire.

His topics of research were Strategic Marketing, Global Marketing Research Methodology and Public Policy.

Professor Andalib spoke about his days as the Vice Chancellor of BRAC University where he served from 2014 to 2016. During his tenure, BRAC University became the number one private university in Bangladesh, and ranked 228th among the top 400 universities in Asia.

Professor Syed Saad Andalib has had vast teaching and research experiences in multiple renowned universities in the country and abroad. He has already published valuable research papers and journals on business and education, and continues to present his opinions about relevant topics in several leading newspapers in Bangladesh.
