Md Jahangir Alam, senior secretary to the Public Security Division under home affairs ministry, has been sent on compulsory retirement. A notification signed by Public Administration Ministry Deputy Secretary Md Alamgir Kabir was issued in this regard on Wednesday.
According to the notification, Md Jahangir Alam was sent on retirement under the Section 45 of the Government Service Retirement Act 2018, as he completed 25 years of service and the government considers it necessary in the public interest.
