Qazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, chairman of Standard Bank Limited, former president of FBCCI and former international director of Lions Clubs International has been awarded ‘Ambassador of Goodwill’, the highest accolade of the organisation.
Akram has been a Lion for more than 43 years.
In 2018, he was elected as the international director of Lions Clubs International by the Lion leaders from more than 200 countries in its 101st International Convention held in Las Vegas, USA.
A philanthropist, educationist and industrialist, Lion Qazi Akram Uddin Ahmed is associated with many educational institutions and socio-cultural organisations of the country.
