A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) is conducting a drive at Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital, dedicated for Covid-19 treatment, in the capital’s Gulshan over several types of allegation against the institution.
The executive magistrate of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) Sarwar Alam, who is leading the drive, confirmed the matter to The Business Post on Sunday (July 19).
He said the drive was being carried out based on various allegations including the use of rapid test kits and other methods for coronavirus infection detection and treatment.
Earlier on July 6, Sarwar Alam led a RAB raid at the Regent Hospital in Dhaka which was later sealed off over providing fake Covid-19 test certificates to patients.
