Bangladesh Meteorology Department (BMD) on Saturday predicted rain or thundershowers across the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am.
“Rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places,” said a Met Office press release.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 36.4 degrees Celsius at Feni and Bandarban while Saturday’s minimum temperature 20.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nikli.
The sun sets at 6:26pm on Saturday and rises at 5:26am in the capital.
