Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Monday predicted rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind at some places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9:00 am.
Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Chattogram divisions during the time, said a met office bulletin.
Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
However, the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
Country's maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 35 degrees Celsius at Kumarkhali in Khulna Division and minimum temperature Monday was 21 degrees Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur.
The sun sets at 6:15pm on Monday and rises at 5:47am on Tuesday in Dhaka.
