Record 6,830 COVID-19 cases in Bangladesh, 50 more die

Bangladesh on Thursday recorded 50 COVID-19 deaths and 6,830 positive cases in 24 hours till 8:00am, the highest single-day infection since the first case was reported.

The Directorate General of Health Services confirmed the matter in a press release.

Bangladesh previously registered single-day highest cases of 6,469 on Thursday.

This is for the fifth consecutive day Bangladesh recorded over 5,000 COVID-19 cases on a single-day.
