Registered pilgrims for 2020 could change Hajj agencies by May 15

Muslim devotes, who got registered in 2020 for performing Hajj under different Hajj agencies, have been asked to transfer their registration from one lead agency to another by May 15 for performing the Hajj, this year.

The Religious Affairs Ministry on Monday issued a notification in this regard.

The ministry also said the listed legal Hajj agencies having 97 pre-registered pilgrims or above have been given permission to transfer their registrations to other agencies to complete procedures for performing Hajj in 2022.

Legal Hajj agencies having less than 97 pre-registered pilgrims will complete their quota related procedures mutually by transferring the registered pilgrims to lead agency concerned, the ministry said in the notification.

After completing the transfer procedures, the list of Hajj agencies and number of agency-based pilgrims (along with guides and munajjem) will be sent to create UserID in e-Hajj system in Saudi Arabia and time will not be extended for completing this procedure, said the ministry.

The ministry said replacement activities will begin after sending information about agency-based pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.  

Agencies whose UserID and passwords are now inactive due to suspension of licence on various reasons will only be able to transfer their registered pilgrims to legal agencies by May 15.

UserID and passwords of these agencies will remain inactive previous, it added.
