A fire broke out at a residential building in Gulshan-2 of Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
No incident of casualty was reported.
The fire started around 11:30am at the ground floor of the six-storey building located on Road-103, said Rafi Al Faruk, duty officer at the control room of Fire service and Civil Defence.
Eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control around 12:40pm, he added.
The cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
