Eighteen more patients died at the Covid unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital in the last 24 hours till Sunday morning.
"Of the fatalities, six were Covid-19 positive, ten died with Covid-like-symptoms and two others had post-Covid complexities,” said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.
Among the fatalities, ten hailed from Rajshahi, three from Natore, two from Chapainawabganj, one each from Naogaon, Kushtia, and Pabna districts.
With newly admitted 52 patients, a total of 405 patients are undergoing treatment against 513 beds at the Covid unit, he added.
Some 42 other patients returned home after being cured during the same time.
