Fourteen more patients, including five women, died at the Covid unit of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital in the past 24 hours till Saturday morning.
"Of the deceased, six were Covid-19 positive while eight others died with Covid-like-symptoms,” said RMCH Director Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani.
Among the fatalities, seven were from Rajshahi, four from Natore, and one each from Pabna, Chuadanga, and Joypurhat.
With 60 new admissions, a total of 522 patients are undergoing treatment against 454 beds at the Covid unit, he added.
A number of 354 people died at the unit in June.
