A group of unidentified people stabbed a Rohingya man to death at a refugee camp in Cox's Bazar Thursday, police said.
The deceased was identified as Mahabubur Rahman, 35, of Balukhali Camp 8 in Ukhiya.
"Mahabub was found dead at Camp 9 almost 24 hours after going missing from his in-law's house in Camp 5. There were several wound marks on his body," Ukhiya Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sheikh Mohammad Ali told UNB.
"We are suspecting that a certain group was behind the killing," he added.
Police sent the body to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
