Rowshan Ershad, the chief patron of Jatiya Party, was flown to Bangkok for better treatment on Friday afternoon.
Rahgir Al Mahi Saad Ershad, son of Rowshan Ershad and MP from Rangpur-3 constituency issued a press release confirming the matter.
Rowshan, also the opposition leader will receive treatment at the Bamrungrad Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, said Saad.
Earlier on August 16, Rowshan Ershad was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit of Dhaka's Combined Military Hospital (CMH).
On August 14, she was admitted to CMH with breathing complications. However, she tested negative for Covid-19.
