A fire that broke out at Magpie Composite Ltd, a readymade garments factory at Ashulia in Savar has been brought under control.
The fire was brought under control at 4:27pm, Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters’ control room confirmed the matter.
Earlier, the fire broke out at 2:35pm.
Four firefighting units from Savar, Uttara and DEPZ are working to douse the fire.
No casualties have been reported yet.
