Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a school peon for allegedly raping a class one girl from Naldanga upazila of Natore district on Sunday morning.
The arrestee was identified as Abu Sadad, 35, a peon of the Naldanga government primary school.
According to locals, Abu Sadad raped a class one girl at Naldanga government primary school after taking the girl to an empty classroom on Monday.
Since the incident, Sadad had avoided capture. The victim’s family filed a case against Sadad. Natore RAB camp Senior Assistant Director Sanjay Kumar Sarkar said that Rab handed over the arrestee to Naldanga Police Station on Sunday afternoon.
