BAF Shaheen English Medium College on Wednesday distributed Eid gifts among the needy people in the capital.
More than two hundred people from the adjacent areas as well as Mohakhali, who were economically affected by the pandemic, were distributed cash, food and essentials in the form of Eid gifts at the college premises by maintaining social distance and health-safety measures, said a release.
“Ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, this relief will help my family for a few days,” said 65-year-old Amena Begum sitting on a wheelchair.
The principal, senior teachers and members of the Community Service Club at SEMC were present during the distribution of Eid gifts among the distressed people.
