Seven more people died of novel coronavirus in Bangladesh over the last 24 hours, taking the toll to 127.
Besides, 414 more people tested positive for coronavirus during the period, raising the number of positive cases in the country to 4,186, Health Minister Zahid Maleque revealed the information at a regular online briefing on Thursday.
So far, a total of 108 patients have recovered from the disease, he said.
Additional Director General (Admin) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr Nasima Sultana came up with the detailed figures later at the briefing.
She said, a total of 3,921 samples were collected from across the country and 3,416 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
Dr Nasima mentioned that five of the deceased were male and two were female and all of them were from Dhaka.
