Speaking as the chief guest, Shahab Uddin said as per the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, his ministry planted 75 million trees in fiscal 2022-23.

He said levelling of hills should be stopped to protect the balance of the environment, urging all to come forward to increase green coverage in the country through rooftop agriculture and social forestry.
