The cultural heritage of Bangladesh and China is becoming more fulfilling compared to recent times, said Social Welfare Minister Dr Dipu Moni.

She made the comment while attending a spring festival titled “Voyage of Spring and Golden Dreams,” organised by the Chinese Embassy at the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka on Wednesday.

Present at the event, Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen said, “The bilateral tie between Bangladesh and China has deepened compared to any previous periods. We have taken steps to celebrate the 50 years of China-Bangladesh diplomatic relationship next year.

“Dhaka and Beijing will work together to strengthen the economic, social and cultural bond between the nations.”

A mesmerising evening of artistic exchange unwrapped as the gala dug deep into the unique historical and humanistic highlights and regional characteristics of each country and showcased a joyful atmosphere through diversified art forms.

Artistes from China’s Yunnan Province and Bangladesh performed in the event, which was attended by ambassadors from different nations, and eminent personalities from the cultural arena.
