Students of eight educational institutions in Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) will be able to pay their tuition and other fees online using Sonali Bank’s payment gateway.
Sonali Bank Limited and Chattogram City Corporation signed an agreement in this regard on Wednesday.
CCC Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Muhammad Touhidul Islam while speaking as the chief guest said, “Digitalisation of our financial activities is necessary to implement the smart Bangladesh that our prime minister wants to build.”
“In future, all educational institutes in Chattogram City Corporation will do their financial transactions through banks instead of manual methods.”
These eight schools are Aparna Charan City Corporation Girls High School and College, Krishnakumari City Corporation Girls High School, Kapasgola City Corporation Girls High School, East Madarbari City Corporation Girls High School, Pathantuli City Corporation Girls High School, Lamabazar AAS City Corporation High School, Kulgaon City Corporation High School, and Hossain Ahmed Chowdhury City Corporation School and College.
