The government of South Korea has imposed a visa ban on Bangladeshi passengers to curb the spread of the COVID-19 transmission.
The ban will come into effect from Friday, April 16.
The embassy of Bangladesh in Seoul issued a press release in this regard.
The South Korean government took the decision after the coronavirus infection among Bangladeshi passengers arriving there increased, said the release.
