The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh said special flights would carry Bangladeshi migrants to four Middle East countries- Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar - as well as Singapore amid strict lockdown.
The decision was finalised in a meeting, chaired by foreign secretary Masud Momen, on Wednesday, reports Dainik Amader Somoy.
An order would be issued in this regard by Thursday, the report said quoting authorities.
Bangladesh imposed a strict lockdown on Wednesday to halt the further spread of the COVID-19 outbreak amid a sharp rise in case.
All public transports, including domestic and international flights, will remain suspended during the lockdown period ending on April 21 at midnight.
The suspension of flight left thousands of Bangladeshi migrants stranded at home, prompting the authorities to consider a special arrangement for them.
