Local administrations of Naogaon municipality and the district's Niamatpur upazila announced a special lockdown on Wednesday.
15-point restrictions including the suspension of public transport movement will be enforced during the lockdown.
Naogaon Deputy Commissioner Harun-ur-Rashid informed the media of the decision at a press conference at 2:00pm on Wednesday.
