The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will begin on February 15 next year, as per the examination schedule published by the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board on their official website Thursday.
Speaking to The Business Post, Board Chairman Prof Tapan Kumar Sarkar said, “The examinations will be held as per schedule. Cooperation is needed from guardians and students to help hold the exams seamlessly.”
Theoretical exams are scheduled to end on March 12, with practical tests set to take place from March 13 to 20.
Back in August, Education Minister Dipu Moni announced that the SSC and equivalent exams of 2024 will be held in February while the HSC and equivalent exams in April.
For the past several years, the authorities concerned had to rearrange the academic calendar due to the Covid-19 pandemic and natural disasters, but it will be fully set from the next year, she had said.
