Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) chairman Professor Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam has said that everyone must idolize Bangabandhu in taking the country forward and only then Bangabandhu's dream of a prosperous Bangladesh will be materialized.
He said, therefore everyone must play their roles wisely in developing the stock market.
Dr Shibli was speaking at a virtual event organized by Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on the occasion of the 45th martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Saturday (August 15th).
BSEC Chairman Professor Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam was present at the event as the chief guest while DSE Chairman Md Yunusur Rahman presided over the event.
The BSEC chairman said the country's economy is moving forward. At the same time, the stock market is also moving forward. The commission is working to make the market a bigger player in the country's GDP in the future.
