A delegation of protesting students have entered the Bangabhaban with a memorandum of one-point demand seeking rational reform of the quota system in government jobs.
Twelve students went to the president to present a memorandum at 2:25pm on Sunday. A team of police personnel took them inside.
Among the members of the delegation are – Dhaka University students Hasnat Abdullah, Sarjis Alam, Nahid Islam, Abdul Hannan Masood, Asif Mahmud, Rashidul Islam Rifat, Abdul Quader, Md Mahin, and Haseeb Al Islam.
Apart from them, there are also two women representatives from Jagannath University and Eden College, and one student from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University in the delegation.
