Students took to the streets on Saturday, staging protests and blocking several key intersections in Dhaka.
The demonstrations began at Mirpur 10 circle, where students gathered at noon. By 12:30 pm, Science Lab intersection was blocked as well.
At 1 pm, protesters converged at Uttara Sector 7 centre and began marching towards BNS centre.
Additional gatherings formed in front of East West University's gate near Hatirjheel intersection, Bashundhara Residential Area's main gate, and Jatrabari.
Teachers, guardians, and residents were also seen participating in the protests, expressing solidarity with the demonstrating students.
