In an effort to improve the country’s traffic system, Swapnojoy Bangladesh – in collaboration with the Bangladesh Police's Traffic Division – has been conducting regular programmes to raise traffic awareness among students and the general public.

With the slogan “Better Traffic, Better Country,” the initiative includes visits to educational institutions, awareness-raising lessons, and the display of placards promoting various traffic rules to restore order in traffic management, read a press release.

In the initial phase, special training sessions are being conducted in various schools and colleges to ensure the safety of both vehicles and pedestrians. These sessions aim to enhance students’ awareness of traffic laws and provide them with effective education on road safety.

Additionally, placards with traffic instructions are being displayed on the streets to encourage both pedestrians and drivers to follow traffic regulations. This campaign aims to reduce road accidents and ensure safe travel for everyone.

A volunteer from Swapnojoy Bangladesh stated, “We believe that through increased awareness and education, adherence to traffic laws can be achieved. Through this initiative, we hope to ensure a safer transportation system.”

An officer from the Bangladesh Police Traffic Division commented, “Raising awareness is crucial to ensuring road safety. Through our joint effort, we will be able to convey the importance of road safety to the public.”

It is expected that this initiative will increase awareness of traffic laws and contribute to ensuring road safety.
