Awami League’s associate organisation Swechchhasebak League president Nirmal Ranjan Guha has been tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday.
Afzalur Rahman Babu, general secretary of the organization, confirmed this to The Business Post.
He added, Guha's test result came positive on Thursday afternoon. The organisation's president is currently being treated at home.
Guha has not yet shown any symptoms despite his positive test result, said Babu.
Nirmal Ranjan Guha has been seen in various programs of the organization including distribution of relief almost every day since the outbreak of coronavirus. He last joined the tree planting program on June 18.
