Switzerland proposes air transport deal with Bangladesh

Switzerland has proposed signing an air transport agreement with Bangladesh. 

Swiss Ambassador to Bangladesh Nathali Chuard handed over the proposal to State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali during a meeting at the Secretariat on Wednesday, said a press release. 

“Switzerland wants to sign an agreement to celebrate the 50 years bilateral relation between Bangladesh and Switzerland. This agreement will help to increase the trade and commerce relation between the two countries,” Chuard said at the meeting.

She also expressed interest in working together for the development of the tourism industry.

Meanwhile, Mahbub said that the air transport agreement will be implemented on time after complementing all the processes. 

"The agreement will help to make the trade and commerce relations stronger as the communication between the two countries will increase," he added. 

The two countries will work together for the development of the tourism and aviation industries as lots of opportunities will be created after implementing the agreement, the state minister furthered.
